The mission of Community Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Morris is to prevent and reduce substance use throughout the lifespan in Morris County through collaboration, education and community-wide change, giving priority to youth under the age of 18 and young adults between the ages of 18-25.

PTC Morris

The PTC is funded by the Drug Free Communities support program, which is collaboration between the Office of National Drug Policy and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and is a taskforce of the Community Coalition for a Safe and Healthy Morris. DFC is the Nation’s leading effort to mobilize communities to prevent youth drug use. The philosophy behind DFC is that local problems need local solutions, and so the Pequannock Township Coalition engages multiple sectors of the community and employ a variety of environmental strategies to address local youth drug and alcohol problems.
